Explore the forest in search of chimpanzees and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Later, return to the rest house and unwind by the shores of Lake Tanganyika before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay at TANAPA Gombe Rest House.
Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am, after which you will embark on a full chimpanzee trekking adventure deep into the forest. During the trek, you will visit the Kakombe Waterfall, the chimpanzee feeding station, and explore the lush forest ecosystem, observing its diverse flora and fauna. Along the way, you may encounter various primates, including baboons, colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, and red-headed monkeys, all in their natural habitat.
After the trek, you will return to the camp for a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy swimming in Lake Tanganyika or unwind on the beach while watching a breathtaking sunset. Dinner will be served at 7:30 pm, followed by an overnight stay at Tanapa gombe Rest House, preparing you for the final day of your Gombe adventure.
After breakfast at 7:30 am, you'll embark on a short chimpanzee trek, offering one final opportunity to observe these remarkable primates in their natural habitat. Following the trek, you will return to the camp to prepare for departure. Around 11:00 am, you'll board the boat for a scenic cruise back across Lake Tanganyika to Kigoma.
